Who are the Barmy Army?

And you'd be right—but there's more to the Barmy Army than just their love for cricket. They are the heart and soul of English cricket, that brings passion, humor, and unwavering support wherever England plays, including Hamilton for the BLACKCAPS Test Series in December!
The origins of the Barmy Army
The Barmy Army was formed in 1994 during England's Ashes tour of Australia. A small group of dedicated English fans traveled down under to support their team. Despite England's struggles on the field, these fans never lost their spirit. They sang, chanted, and cheered relentlessly, earning the affectionate nickname "Barmy Army" from the Australian media for their seemingly irrational enthusiasm in the face of adversity.
