International Women’s Day is profoundly meaningful to the team at H3 Group, and they take immense pride in recognising and honouring the exceptional women who consistently exceed expectations in serving Hamilton city and the events industry.
H3 are proud to share a special Soundcheck podcast episode, featuring their longest serving female team members. H3 Event Manager, Natalie Barrott and H3 Senior Conference and Functions Manager, Leanne Jack, joined Soundcheck producer, Hannah Mooney to discuss International Women’s Day and the positive impact they have on the events industry.
With a combined total of 26 years working at H3, Hannah asks Natalie and Leanne to reflect on their time and deep dive into the growth of both the events industry, H3 and challenges they’ve faced along the way.
They discuss life before H3, what lead them to working in events, their favourite events they’ve ever attended, and what International Women’s Day means to them.
Hannah says, “Working alongside such dedicated women who have paved the way for young people in events is awe inspiring. It just affirms my respect and appreciation to learn from them and hear about their industry experiences and careers to date.”
